Medical Students' Attitudes and Awareness toward Teaching and Participation in Formal Clinical Teaching in Iraq

Abstract Introduction Clinical teaching is essential for the continuity of education health care professionals. Developing skills highly required to communicate efficiently and transfer experience knowledge others. To our knowledge, medical students across Iraq did not give their perception clinical in a comprehensive way. Therefore, aim this study understand students' learn from responses what subtypes they may desire most. Methods An online survey was distributed among Iraqi universities between February April 2022. Results In all, 2,562 (1,567 females 995 males) responded 24 26 colleges medicine Iraq. The majority responders were senior students. total, 73.3% had no previous teaching. Those willing work or academic hospital comprised 84.2% students, 1,563 interested pursuing “clinical teaching” students/residents upon completion residency. Collective confidence abilities rated as 3.4 out 5. 1,505 felt would be have an elective period education, voted 1-month period. Male perceived more variable compared (p < 0.05).
